About
the long version…
I lived and worked in the Washington DC area for about 8 years, where I worked in technology management consulting after graduating from University of Maryland with a bioengineering degree. After digitally transforming my clients’ businesses time and again, I noticed that seemingly small changes in design (of systems, process, or interface) resulted in massive increases in user adoption and satisfaction. This sparked a few questions within me:
How might businesses uncover these opportunities to delight sooner, and more often?
How might technology be used to create more meaningful and enriching experiences for people and businesses?
And to answer that question, I decided to expand my understanding of business and design at Kellogg School of Management where I earned an MBA and an MS in Design Innovation. There, I had the opportunity to work with major companies in tackling their most pressing business problems with a human-centered design approach. I interned at Amazon as a Product Manager, where I conducted extensive user research to propose and design a new feature for one of their leading cloud products.
Outside of building experience in design and innovation, I focused heavily on marketing through courses like Retail Analytics, Advertising Strategy, and Marketing Strategy. I helped a classmate launch his wellness start-up by developing its brand ethos, content marketing strategy, and social media presence. I also worked as a Brand Experience Strategist at a beauty-tech startup building a brand vision and enabling the business to bring that vision to life through experiences.
I returned to Deloitte Consulting after business school, where I focused on using my expertise in design thinking and marketing to help Technology, Media, and Telecommunication (TMT) clients. In late 2022, I joined Bain & Company’s Commercial Excellence practice where I am building our solutions and products related to B2B Marketing, Customer Experience, and Digital Go-to-Market capabilities.
